Peter Blomquist
Co-Founder, Faculty, Board
Peter is the principal of Blomquist International, a consulting business focused on organizational development, philanthropy, and global engagement. Previously, he served in leadership roles with Mercy Corps, Global Partnerships, the Starbucks Foundation and CARE. Currently, He is coordinator of the Global Donors Exchange, and a co-founder of the Global Leadership Forum.
Peter teaches classes on global citizenship and international organizations at Seattle University, coordinates the Global Awareness Program (GAP), and runs an internship program for the Department of International Studies.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys playing soccer several times a week, reading literature, and trying to learn chords up the neck (guitar). He is a native of Seattle; he and his wife Ann have two grown daughters.
