Greg Siegler
Senior Officer, Grants & Contracts, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Greg Siegler is a Senior Officer for Grants and Contracts at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he has worked since 2013, supporting investments for the Foundation’s Global Policy and Advocacy, Communications, and Operations divisions. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, in International Relations, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. As an attorney, Greg has advised nonprofit organizations and other entities on corporate, transactional, commercial, licensing, and tax matters, having served as in-house counsel to publicly traded corporations in Seattle and practiced law with firms in San Francisco and San Jose. He also has worked as a legislative aide to a Member of Congress, as an adjunct professor in the University of San Francisco’s graduate program on nonprofit administration, and as a consultant on judicial reform in Budapest, Hungary. Greg is also a longtime trustee of FIUTS, the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students, a nonprofit organization on the University of Washington campus, working to promote international understanding and cultural exchange.
